Sour Cream Sauce for Chicken Livers
Ingredients
For each Pound of Chicken Livers
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons lemon juice plus 1 teaspoon chervil or 2 teaspoons dried dill weed, or 1 tablespoon tomato purée plus 1 teaspoon oregano
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients together in a heavy saucepan and warm them slowly over low heat. Pour the sauce over the chicken livers.
