1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 Bosc pear, halved
1 tablespoon water

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt butter with oil in small ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Add pear halves, turning to coat. Arrange pears, cut side down, in skillet; sprinkle with water. Roast until tender, about 20 minutes. Cool. Peel and core roasted pears; cut into 3/4-inch cubes.
