Easy Cheesy Mexican Dip

4.2

(78)

This dip requires only three basic ingredients. If you're bringing it to a party, you can assemble it ahead of time in a disposable aluminum pan and throw it in the oven when you arrive. I got this recipe from Lisa Lombardo, a friend of mine who brought it all the way from Albany, New York, to my housewarming party in Brooklyn. Even after the long haul it still tasted great!

Ingredients

1 16-ounce can chili
1 package (block) of Philadelphia cream cheese
1 package (8 ounces) of pre-shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack/Cheddar blend

Preparation

  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread cream cheese evenly on the bottom of casserole dish.Layer chili on top of the cream cheese. Distribute grated cheese evenly over the top.

    Step 2

Bake in oven until cheese melts, approximately 12 to 15 minutes. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
