You know the old saying: Sounds weird, tastes great! For real, though, you are going to love this super sippable, refreshing beverage. Avocado gives the drink the creamy, sippable texture of a milkshake but without a drop of dairy.

Ingredients

1 small ripe avocado, pit removed
5 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
3 Tbsp. sugar
Tiny pinch of kosher salt

Preparation

  1. Scoop avocado flesh into a blender and add lime juice, sugar, salt, 1/2 cup ice cubes, and 2 cups cold water. Purée until smooth; blend in another splash of water if mixture is too thick. Pour into glasses, filled with ice if desired.
