Print out this Thanksgiving shopping list and head out to the supermarket to make our amazingly fast menu. There's not a minute to waste!
PRODUCE
- 2 Anjou pears (about 1 1/4 pounds)
- 8 ounces fresh cranberries (2 1/2 cups)
- 5 lemons
- 7 garlic cloves (1 head)
- 1 shallot
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1 bunch fresh rosemary
- 1 bunch fresh thyme
- 1 bunch fresh sage
- 3 pounds sweet potatoes (about 7 small or 5 medium)
- 4 Delicata squash (about 4 pounds)
- 2 large bunches of Tuscan kale (about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 3/4 pound Brussels sprouts
- 8 ounces wild mushrooms
MEAT & POULTRY
- 2 bone-in turkey legs (thigh and drumstick attached) and 2 bone-in turkey breasts (about 8 pounds total, or one 10–12 pound turkey)
- 1/2 pound hot or sweet Italian sausage links (uncooked)
- 3 large eggs
DAIRY
- 1 pound unsalted butter
- 4 1/2-ounce block of Parmesan or Pecorino cheese
FREEZER
- One (14 to 17-ounce) package puff pastry, preferably all-butter
BAKERY
- 2 crusty white demi-baguettes (10 1/2 ounces total—if you can't find demi-baguettes, which I prefer because of the greater bread-to-crust ratio, you can get one baguette that's at least 10 1/2 ounces.)
PANTRY
- Granulated sugar
- Kosher salt
- Black pepper
- Red-pepper flakes
- Cornstarch
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Dijon mustard
- Red-wine vinegar
- Maple syrup
- 1 bottle dry white wine
- 16 fluid ounces low-sodium chicken or turkey broth
