This super-flavorful latte, often referred to in the West as golden milk, is based on Haldi Doodh (Turmeric Milk), a traditional Indian drink made up of half a cup or less of piping hot cow’s milk mixed with a tablespoon of ground turmeric. This iced version subs in cashew milk to make it vegan, and includes other warming spices and a hit of sugar for a rounder, sweeter experience.
