Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, heat the cranberry juice just to the boiling point. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the kirsch. Divide the mixture among six 10-ounce heat-proof mugs, rinsed with boiling water beforehand. Garnish each drink with an orange slice, if desired.
