Recipes From Bon Appétit’s Summer 2024 Issue

For the Summer 2024 issue of Bon Appétit, the BA team developed warm weather dinners with refreshing bite, intense spice, and savory char—plus minimal effort desserts that highlight the year’s best produce.
If sweltering heat and humidity is already kicking in where you live, try lowering your body temperature with Rachel Gurjar’s new spicy recipes, including Sri Lankan–style black pepper curry and grilled chicken marinated in salsa. While you’re firing up the grill, consider adding Jesse Szewczyk’s new chicken skewers and ginger and mustard pork chops to the menu. (Spoiler alert: These recipes both benefit from a secret pantry ingredient in the marinade.)
Our summer desserts keep the focus on produce—and keep the work to a minimum. So go pick up another tank of propane or a bag of charcoal for the grill, then pour yourself a glass of sweet vermouth sangria, because summer is nearly here and we’re ready to eat.
