Millie Peartree is an accomplished chef and media personality whose personalized takes on classic Soul Food recipes helped make her a household name. Millie is the host of A Chef’s Guide to Soul Food, currently streaming on Magnolia/Discovery+. She has been a featured guest on Food Network’s Chopped, Worst Cooks in America and Supermarket Stakeout. Millie has made guest appearances on OWN’s The Great Soul Food Cook-Off and Hulu’s Best in Dough. Her recurring appearances on Good
Morning America, TODAY, Rachael Ray Show, The Real and other daytime talk shows demonstrate to viewers the various and simple ways home chefs can make their meals come to life. Millie is a contributor to The New York Times, Delish, Food52 and Bon Appetit. In 2020, Millie Peartree founded the non-profit Full Heart Full Bellies, a program working to reduce the number of food deserts among underserved communities and bring awareness to food insecurity nationwide. To date, she has fed over 100,000 children and families and has distributed over 500,000 lbs. of food to some of our most vulnerable citizens. Millie recently built a greenhouse in Bronx, NY with plans to continue developing and funding food programming through Full Heart Full Bellies and her donation-based restaurant concepts.
