Located in the heart of Banff, central to Alberta’s section of the Rocky Mountains, Evelyn’s Coffee Bar has been a cozy retreat for locals and visitors since 1992. Known for their baked goods as much as their fresh lunches and signature coffees, Evelyn’s was featured in the R.S.V.P. section of Bon Appétit’s March 1999 issue, when a reader asked: “Every morning of our vacation in the Canadian Rockies…I had breakfast at Evelyn’s Coffee Bar. Can BA find out how the Banana Chocolate-Chip Muffins are made?” Well, they did. And the recipe has been a hit on Epicurious ever since.
