Amy Sedaris is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She created the role of Jerri Blank in the Comedy Central series “Strangers With Candy,” in which she also starred, and reprised the role for the prequel film Strangers With Candy. Sedaris has guest starred and made cameos in countless television shows and movies, including Elf, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “Sex and the City,” and more. In 2017, she created the series “At Home With Amy Sedaris” for truTV, where she played multiple characters, including herself, sharing her very real love of cooking and entertaining through parody. She is the author of three books, including I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence, and coauthored a play, The Book of Liz, with her brother, David Sedaris.
